The band will return to the road for the second iteration of the From Zero World Tour in 2025. Canvasing the globe, the next leg commences on January 31 in Mexico City, MX, visits major markets around the world, and comes to a close on November 15 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Special guests Queens of the Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS will join on select dates. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below, and get details on all pre-sales and on-sales at fromzero.linkinpark.com/tour.

Among many highlights, FROM ZERO features the new single “Two Faced.” On Wednesday, the band surprise-released the hard-hitting music video helmed by Hahn to accompany the song. Watch HERE. Holding nothing back, it reups the instantly recognizable elements of the band’s signature sound, tempering grainy distortion with chaotic turntable scratching, airtight rhymes, and a cathartic chorus. A gritty riff anchors the track as Shinoda deftly raps on the verses and Armstrong alternates between an arresting refrain and a jarring scream, “I can’t hear myself think.

Elsewhere on the album, “Casualty” teems with unbridled aggression. A militant groove-laden guitar crunch seethes atop the breakneck-paced punk beat. Meanwhile, Shinoda and Armstrong lock into a fiery back-and-forth capped off by an unapologetic chant, “I won’t be your casualty.” Then, there’s “IGYEIH,” which hinges on the incendiary interplay of unpredictable instrumentation and undeniable vocals. The album concludes with a moment of stark honesty on “Good Things Go. From the jump, Shinoda admits, “Feels like it’s rained in my head for a hundred days. Awash in raw feeling, it crescendos towards one last epic exhale. Check out the full tracklisting below.

Adding to the release week celebrations, SiriusXM announced the return of LINKIN PARK Radio, an exclusive pop-up channel available starting today to their subscribers in car on channel 41 through November 17 and on the SiriusXM app through December 14. Next up, LINKIN PARK will officially air the live performance of “The Emptiness Machine” from Allianz Park in São Paulo during the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. Be sure to tune in on November 24.

LINKIN PARK ignited this season with The Emptiness Machine.” It has exploded as the #1 rock song in the country and the biggest rock song of 2024. It made a rapid climb to #1 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart and Alternative Airplay Chart. In total, the band have scored a staggering 13 #1 entries on the latter chart (the second-most in history) with three in the last eighteen months. Thus far, “The Emptiness Machine” has gathered a quarter-of-a-billion global streams and counting. Heavy Is The Crown followed fast in the same path, and earlier this month the band delivered a scorching performance of the League of Legends Worlds anthem at the 2024 World Championship opening ceremony at the O2 Arena in London. The band set the final stage for FROM ZERO with the Emily-led “Over Each Other,” which Revolver christened “an emotional rocker.”

September 5, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) LINKIN PARKMike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, Joe Hahn, alongside new members Emily Armstrong [of critically acclaimed band Dead Sara] as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain [songwriter/producer for G Flip, Illenium, One OK Rock] as drummer—share their first brand new music in seven years.

The iconic band shared a deluge of treats for fans: a new single (HERE) and video (premiering HERE at 4pm PT/7pm ET), for “The Emptiness Machine,” plus a global livestream performance (happening now HERE and available only for 24 hours), and the launch of 6 upcoming arena shows in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota as part of the From Zero World Tour. LP Underground fan club exclusive pre-sales start September 6 and general on-sales September 7. Go to LinkinPark.com for more info.

These surprises herald the arrival of LINKIN PARK’s first album since 2017, FROM ZERO, on November 15. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE via Warner Records.

Tomorrow, Friday September 6th, the band joins long-time friend and Apple Music host Zane Lowe for an in-depth candid conversation about the incredible legacy of Linkin Park, the 7-year long journey to new music and their excitement for the future. Fans can tune in at 6AM PT to watch the full interview HERE.

Without expectations, Shinoda, Delson, Farrell, and Hahn quietly began meeting up again in recent years. Rather than “trying to restart the band,” their instinct was to simply spend more time together, and reconnect with the creativity and camaraderie that has been at the core of their friendship since college. During this time, they invited various friends and cohorts to join them in the studio; among the guests, they found a special kinship with Armstong and Brittain. A natural chemistry drew these musicians back into its gravitational pull as they logged more and more hours in the studio. It was the sound of lifelong musicians rediscovering the uncontainable energy of a new beginning once again. Over this season, FROM ZERO was born.

About the new era, Shinoda stated, “Before LINKIN PARK, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what LINKIN PARK has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”

Right out of the gate, “The Emptiness Machine” channels the DNA of LINKIN PARK, harnessing the band’s explosive energy and retaining the hallmarks of their instantly identifiable and inimitable sound. A chameleonic and catchy anthem, Shinoda’s hypnotic melodies hand off to Armstrong’s blistering chorus, over distorted riffs and head-nodding drums.

Shinoda elaborated, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created. We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”

Ultimately, with FROM ZERO, the band is looking to harness the purest energy of their past, present, and future. The new era has officially begun.

TRACK “FRIENDLY FIRE” FROM

ONE MORE LIGHT-ERA

LISTEN HERE

February 23, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) – Assembling an essential collection of generational anthems, LINKIN PARK will present their first-ever career-spanning greatest hits album entitled Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023) on April 12TH via Warner Records.

Pre-order/Pre-save HERE. It will be available at all DSPs and in various physical configurations, including CD, Cassette, and double Vinyl. For the latter, there are several limited edition color vinyl variants, a Zoetrope picture disc and black vinyl.

The fan enthusiasm and fervor for both Hybrid Theory (20TH Anniversary Edition) in 2020 and Meteora (20TH Anniversary Edition) last year ultimately inspired the band to curate and carefully piece together what would become Papercuts. It offers a comprehensive retrospective of their journey so far in the span of one album highlighted by everything from “Crawling” and “Somewhere I Belong” to the sought-after rarity “QWERTY.

In addition to the classics, LINKIN PARK uncovered the never-before-released track “Friendly Fire.” Recorded during the 2017 sessions for their seventh album One More Light, it features a powerhouse vocal performance from the late Chester Bennington. The video was directed and edited by long-time collaborator Mark Fiore and features never-before-seen studio and live footage – watch HERE. Cinematic keys and a delicate beat underline emotionally charged verses as humming guitar uplifts the introspective chorus, “We’re pulling apart for no reason, we’re pulling a trigger in a useless war…what are we fighting for.” It embodies the style, soul, and spirit of classic LP.

About “Friendly Fire” Brad Delson added, “‘Friendly Fire’ was always one of our favorite songs from the One More Light sessions. Something about it wasn’t quite right so as close as it got to the finish line, we chose to set it aside for later. When we started looking for an unreleased track to include on our greatest hits collection, I was blown away by the power of the song, the power of the storytelling, the power of the vocal, the sonic landscape and I actually thought that it was closer than maybe we had realized at the time.

We got together to work on it and connect some of the missing pieces that for whatever reason hadn’t revealed themselves during the recording of One More Light. I can’t wait for people to hear it. It’s such a beautiful, compelling, heartbreaking, hopeful story and it really resonates with me today.”

Said Mike Shinoda, “In the making of each Linkin Park album, I want to love and believe in each individual song completely. I hope that if any one track is heard on its own in the world, it is something I can feel proud of, and something that takes root inside the listener and becomes part of the energy that connects us.

Curating the tracks for Papercuts was a joy. Each song in this collection is both a singular moment on our timeline and an evolving story that is as much ours as it is yours. From our first release ‘One Step Closer’ to the brand-new ‘Friendly Fire,’ this tracklist spans all our chapters so far. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope you enjoy Papercuts.”

Additionally, “In The End” just achieved a Diamond Certification (10x Million) from the RIAA. It stands out as the band’s most-streamed song with over 1.8 billion Spotify streams and 1.7 billion YouTube views on the music video. This marks their first Diamond Certification for a single. It notably graces the tracklisting of their 12x-platinum Diamond-Certified full-length debut, Hybrid Theory.

In 2023, LINKIN PARK unleashed Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition. It soared to #1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, Top Catalog Albums Chart, and Top Vinyl Albums Chart in addition to landing in the Top 3 of the Top Album Sales Chart and vaulting into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 at #8. Not to mention, the single “Lost” took flight as the biggest rock song of 2023 and earned the “first #1 debut on Billboard’s Rock & Alternative Airplay Chart in over a decade! Simultaneously, it became the band’s highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 entry since 2012, bowing at #38! Thus far, it has amassed over 166 million Spotify streams and 78 million YouTube views on the stunning music videoMeteora 20th Anniversary Edition was chronicled and celebrated by The New York Times, The FADERThe Howard Stern ShowKROQ, and more.
