LIAM GALLAGHER SHARES HIS NEW SINGLE ‘BETTER DAYS’

LIAM GALLAGHER SHARES THE NEW SINGLE ‘BETTER DAYS’

FROM HIS NEW ALBUM ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ WHICH FOLLOWS ON MAY 27TH

“Contains enough sizeable bangers and rousing anthems to kickstart the much-heralded post-pandemic Third Summer Of Love.”–  NME

What can we expect from Liam Gallagher’s eagerly anticipated new album ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’? A set full of classically instant Liam bangers topped by that iconic snarling vocal and his effortless rock star attitude. But this time there’s a twist as Liam infuses his sound with an eclectic array of new influences. It’s an approach that has made his recent tracks, the Top 20 hit ‘Everything’s Electric’ and the album’s title track, instant fan favourites.

Liam today shares his new single ‘Better Days’ which takes that experimental touch to a new level. It’s a shot of sunshine dopamine in audio form, as thunderous, ‘90s-style big beats add jet-fuelled propulsion to a classic crowd-pleasing anthem. Celebrating a summer in which we can all be reunited, it’s a summer song perfectly suited to receiving a huge audience reaction when Liam hits the road this summer.

Liam says, “‘Better Days’ is the sound of the summer.”

Liam also captures that spirit with the song’s official video. Joined by his band, he takes to the roof of the Manchester landmark, the historic Midland Hotel, for a full-throttle performance as crowds gather around to watch from nearby offices and the street. Given another cinematic touch as the sky turns psychedelic, it’s a video that nods to The Beatles’ legendary Apple Corps rooftop show. It was directed by the multiple Grammy nominee Paul Dugdale, whose credits include numerous major artists as varied as The Rolling Stones, Adele, Taylor Swift and Coldplay.

Reflecting the song’s positive spirit, Liam will donate all UK proceeds from the song to War Child for the rest of this year. The charity aims to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict, and campaigns on the root causes of conflict to help create a safer future for children in war zones across the world.

Rich Clarke, Head of War Child Records, says, “We could not be more grateful to Liam for his incredible, continued support for the charity. With us since the earliest days of our music-focused fundraising almost 27 years ago, Liam’s contributions have extended to putting exclusive Oasis tracks on our classic ‘HELP’ and ‘1 Love’ albums to donating £1 from every ticket sold on his 2019 UK tour. Now, in these most challenging times, Liam’s generosity stretches further still, to help us reach more children living conflict around the world.”

‘Better Days’ was written by Liam with his regular collaborators, the Grammy-winning Andrew Wyatt and Michael Tighe. Andrew Wyatt produced the song with Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sir Paul McCartney). It also features guitar courtesy of Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

‘Better Days’, ‘Everything’s Electric’ and the title track will all feature on the ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ album, which is perfectly positioned to become Liam’s fourth UK #1 solo album when it is released on May 27th.

That same day will also see Liam release the ‘Down By The River Thames’ live album. Originally streamed in December 2020, the show became one of the most memorable performances of the lockdown era. Liam followed the precedent set by the Sex Pistols and The Clash, and decided to hit the River Thames, armed with a boatload of attitude, a phenomenal live band (including Bonehead) and an arsenal of classic songs.

Both ‘Down By The River Thames’ and ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ are available to pre-order HERE in a selection of value-for-money bundles. These include both albums on CD or standard vinyl , as well as a bundle featuring the ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ cassette and the ‘… River Thames’ vinyl.

Liam has just announced an intimate show at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall to launch his new trainer design LG2SPZL, a collaboration with adidas Spezial – follow #LG2SPZL and #adidasspezial for the latest updates on its launch.

Mullingar Power rock-pop four piece, The Blizzards are delighted to announce their fourth studio album ‘Sometimes We See More In The Dark’ out May 13th

The band used their time in lockdown to explore their music and work on really defining their sound. Honing their melodic, dynamic hooks and crafting their pop guitar-driven song-writing. A true reflection of their musical identity in 2022.

The new album features the singles ‘Friction Burns’, Trigger Me’ and ‘Play God’ and showcases their strongest sound and writing since the bands formation. The previously three released singles are accompanied by equally stunning videos, the bands ethos to work with local Mullingar creative outlets and locations shines through their videos and production.

The initial plan was to release an EP of music, but the bands creativity levels were at an all-time high. A wealth of material developed from time spent in the studio by returning to their roots of just plugging in and playing.

The album making process represented many things for the members of the band but a common thread for all was creative freedom with no restraints..

Frontman Bressie says ‘it was about going back to the rawness of being in a garage band. The idea of making your instruments work for the song rather than the song work for the instrument. Lyrically it felt like the album wrote itself… Like they were there already. That’s always a special feeling because you know it’s coming from an authentic place’

Bassist, Louize Carroll first time making a full length album and being part of the process from start to finishIt’s the first time I’ve been part of an album from start to finish as a bass player and..in many ways I feel more belonging and meaning together as a band with this new body of work. I’m so proud of what the band has achieved.

Lead Guitarist Justin appreciated having a creative outlet during the global pandemic ‘For me it was being given an opportunity to write and record music during the pandemic. It gave us a chance not only to rediscover ourselves musically but also hone our dynamic as a four piece band and I’m looking forward to performing these songs live and likewise for drummer Dec, having a creative outlet during life’s chaos and creating music that represents the bands best material ‘To be in a position at this stage in our lives, where life is hectic and sometimes overwhelming, to be able to find time to create a special batch of songs has been very rewarding. Working creatively where the priority in the feel and vibe of each song has been dictated by us and not the industry feels very empowering after 15 years mostly spent trying to please people’

Niall Breslin aka (Bressie) (Guitar / Lead Vocals), Louize Carroll (Bass), Justin Ryan (Lead Guitar) and Dec Murphy (Drums) are stronger, more passionate and energised than ever and are ready to share it with the world. The previously released tracks are just an introduction to the album, recorded in Camden Recording Studios. The Album was produced and mixed by Aidan Cunningham and Bressie and engineered by Eloise Molle.

Sometimes We See More In The Dark’ out Friday May 13th across all digital platforms and to celebrate the release they will be playing an album launch party in The Academy Dublin on May 14th, tickets are on sale now and will be an explosive live show not to be missed.

THE BLACK KEYS ANNOUNCE THEIR 11TH STUDIO ALBUM ‘DROPOUT BOOGIE’ – OUT MAY 13TH

THE BLACK KEYS ANNOUNCE 11th STUDIO ALBUM,
DROPOUT BOOGIE, OUT MAY 13 ON NONESUCH

FIRST SINGLE “WILD CHILD” + VIDEO OUT TODAY

Dropout Boogie Features Collaborations with Billy F. Gibbons, and Greg Cartwright

After 10 albums, the last five of which have gone top 10 or better, six Grammy awards, and sold-out tours around the world, The Black Keys are back: The duo, called “America’s Most Trusted Band” by Stephen Colbert, and “one of the best rock’n’roll bands on the planet” by Uncut, releases its eleventh studio album, Dropout Boogie, on May 13 via Nonesuch Records. The first single, “Wild Child,” is out today along with a video directed by the band’s longtime collaborator Bryan Schlam. Dropout Boogie features collaborations with Billy F. Gibbons (ZZ Top), Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound), and Angelo Petraglia (Kings of Leon).

Dropout Boogie will be released one day before the twentieth anniversary of The Black Keys’ first album, The Big Come Up. As they have done their entire career, the duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney wrote all of the material in the studio, and the new album captures a number of first takes that hark back to the stripped-down blues rock of their early days making music together in Akron, Ohio basements.

“That’s always been the beauty of the thing Pat and I do. It’s instant,” Auerbach says. “We’ve never really had to work at it. Whenever we’d get together, we’d just make music, you know? We didn’t know what we were going to do, but we’d just do it and it would sound cool. It’s the natural chemistry Pat and I have. Being in a band this long is a testament to that. It was a real gift that we were given. I mean, the odds of being plopped down a block-and-a-half from each other in Akron, Ohio–it just seems crazy.”

After hashing out initial ideas as a duo at Auerbach’s Nashville-based Easy Eye Sound studio, Auerbach and Carney welcomed new collaborators Billy F. Gibbons, Greg Cartwright, and Angelo Petraglia to the Dropout Boogie sessions. Although The Black Keys previously co-wrote songs with frequent producer/collaborator Danger Mouse, this is the first time they have invited multiple new contributors to work simultaneously on one of their own albums. Both Cartwright and Petraglia can be heard on the new album’s first single, “Wild Child.”

“Living in Nashville and making records here has opened both of our minds to that experience a little bit more,” said Auerbach. “I knew Pat would love working with both of these guys, so we decided we’d give it a shot. It was the first time we’d ever really done that. It was fun as hell. We just sat around a table with acoustic guitars and worked out a song ahead of time.” “The cool thing with Greg is that he wants to approach stuff with a story in mind — there’s a plot, almost,” added Carney.

The Black Keys had previously jammed with ZZ Top guitar legend Billy F. Gibbons more than a decade ago in Los Angeles, while ZZ Top was working on an album with producer Rick Rubin. “We never even really wrote one song–we just had some ideas we put down,” Carney said. “We really just wanted to hang out with him. We stayed in touch, and Dan invited him to the studio once we started working on this album.”

Between the duo’s albums, Auerbach, through his Easy Eye Sound studio and label, has produced and co-written with artists including Yola, Marcus King, Robert Finley, Ceramic Animal, and the Velveteers.

Carney has also been busy as a producer at his Nashville-by-way-of-Akron studio Audio Eagle, where he has worked with Michelle Branch, Tennis, Jessy Wilson, Calvin Johnson, and The Sheepdogs, among others.

The Black Keys will tour North America for the first time in three years starting in July. Band of Horses will support on all dates, while Ceramic Animal (July 9-30), Early James (Aug. 24-Sept. 9), and the Velveteers (Oct. 2-18) will open at select performances. A full list of dates and ticket information is below. International tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Black Keys Dropout Boogie album is now available for pre-order here. The first single “Wild Child” is out now for streaming and download. A limited edition Dropout Boogie ‘Pink Panther’ vinyl is now available for pre-order exclusively in the band’s online store. Select indie retailers will also be receiving a limited quantity of Dropout Boogie ‘White’ vinyl available for pre-order.

LIAM GALLAGHER SHARES THE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘EVERYTHING’S ELECTRIC’

‘Everything’s Electric’ is proving to be another biblical moment for Liam Gallagher as the May 27th release of his third solo studio album ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ approaches. The track immediately ignited attention upon launch with the news that it was co-written by Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin, before powering into the Top 20 as the biggest hit of Liam’s solo career to date. Its profile remained sky high with a characteristically larger-than-life performance at the BRIT Awards, an electrifying moment on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, and winning the NME Award for Music Moment of the Year.

Now Liam gives the song another impactful moment by sharing the official ‘Everything’s Electric’ video, which blends a brand new performance with iconic live footage. The video looks ahead to a big summer in which Liam and fans will again share the adrenaline rush and the life-affirming communal atmosphere of being reunited for live shows.

The ‘Everything’s Electric’ video was directed by Liam’s regular visual collaborator Charlie Lightening. The duo’s previous work together includes the ‘As It Was’ documentary as well as the videos for ‘Once’ (featuring Eric Cantona) and ‘Chinatown’.

A visually arresting Zoetrope version quickly sold-out, but other collectible formats are available. BIFFY CLYRO: CULTURAL SONS OF SCOTLAND A NEW DOCUMENTARY FILM FROM AMAZON MUSIC AND WARNER RECORDS

BIFFY CLYRO: CULTURAL SONS OF SCOTLAND

A NEW DOCUMENTARY FILM FROM AMAZON MUSIC AND WARNER RECORDS

AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON AMAZON MUSIC AND PRIME VIDEO

Biffy Clyro are one of Britain’s biggest rock bands, having remained contemporary throughout their 25-year career encompassing nine studio albums, major festival headline performances, sell-out world tours and more. The famously private Scottish band have never allowed anyone unrestricted access to document their creative process, until now.

Today, Amazon Music, Warner Records and Biffy Clyro announce Biffy Clyro: Cultural Sons of Scotland, an intimate documentary film showing the back-to-basics recording process they adopted to create their ninth studio album, The Myth of the Happily Ever After. With unprecedented access to the band, the new feature length film takes viewers on the journey with Simon, Ben and James as they return to their home in Ayrshire to create their latest, critically acclaimed album in the most unusual of studio environments. The film explores how the experience of recording an album in Scotland for the first time prompted the band to reflect on the importance of where they’re from, how this has influenced their career to date and reinforced their lifelong bond as friends and bandmates.

Watch Biffy Clyro: Cultural Sons of Scotland exclusively on Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Video from Friday 25th February. The trailer is available to watch now on the Biffy Clyro and Amazon Music channels on YouTube.

Recorded over three months in 2021, the band unexpectedly found themselves back where it all began: the west coast of Scotland. Faced with the feeling of uncertainty and despair which swept the globe at the height of the pandemic, Simon, James and Ben were grounded in more ways than one; forced off tour, they headed to their studio on a working Ayrshire farm to process what was happening the only way they knew how. The result was ninth album The Myth of the Happily Ever After, described by DIY as their “… most emotionally powerful record in years.” and Kerrang as “the sound of a world-class band making truly world-class music”.

Biffy Clyro: Cultural Sons of Scotland details the band’s ups and downs and their newfound approach to their creativity, before fittingly documenting their return to the stage for a sold-out outdoor show at Glasgow Green, their first in Scotland in almost two years.

Biffy Clyro’s frontman, Simon Neil said of the film; “In the same part of the world as I wrote my very first song is where we’re making this record, and there’s something really pure about that.”

Drummer, Ben Johnston, commented; “We don’t need all the bells and whistles for us to be fulfilled and happy, we just need the three of us to be making music together and have that vibe in a room – and that’s what keeps our hearts beating.”

Biffy’s bass player, James Johnston added; “Everyone should join a band… if you get a chance to go join a band with your brothers or your sisters, or people you consider to be a brother or a sister, that’s probably the best years you’ll ever have in your life.”

The film will premiere on Amazon Music and Prime Video on Friday 25th February. The film will also be available to watch in cinemas for one night only at four exclusive venues across the UK. The four Doc n’ Roll Films presents… Biffy Clyro: Cultural Sons of Scotland screenings will take place on 24th February at Dalston’s Rio Cinema, Cameo in Edinburgh, DCA in Dundee and Everyman in Glasgow. Tickets are available now here.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce New Album Unlimited Love

Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce New Album Unlimited Love, Share Video for New Song “Black Summer”: Watch
The band’s first new music since guitarist John Frusciante rejoined the lineup in 2019.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are back with their first new song since 2016. “Black Summer” also marks the band’s first song since guitarist John Frusciante rejoined the lineup in 2019. The track leads the band’s new album, Unlimited Love, which is produced by Rick Rubin and out April 1 via Warner. Watch the video for “Black Summer” below.

The new single arrives ahead of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ upcoming stadium tour. The group has shows lined up with support from A$AP Rocky, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Haim, Beck, the Strokes, King Princess, and St. Vincent. The trek is currently slated to begin in June and continue through September.

“Our only goal is to get lost in the music,” the members of Red Hot Chili Peppers said of their forthcoming album in a press release. “We (John, Anthony, Chad, and Flea) spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could. Our antennae attuned to the divine cosmos, we were just so damn grateful for the opportunity to be in a room together, and, once again, try to get better. Days, weeks and months spent listening to each other, composing, jamming freely, and arranging the fruit of those jams with great care and purpose. The sounds, rhythms, vibrations, words and melodies had us enrapt.” They continued:

We yearn to shine a light in the world, to uplift, connect, and bring people together. Each of the songs on our new album Unlimited Love, is a facet of us, reflecting our view of the universe. This is our life’s mission. We work, focus, and prepare, so that when the biggest wave comes, we are ready to ride it. The ocean has gifted us a mighty wave and this record is the ride that is the sum of our lives. Thank you for listening, we hope you enjoy it. ROCK OUT MOTHERFUCKERS!

Frusciante added: “When we got together to start writing material, we began by playing old songs by people like Johnny ‘Guitar’ Watson, the Kinks, the New York Dolls, Richard Barrett, and others. Ever so gradually, we started bringing in new ideas, and turning jams into songs, and after a couple of months the new stuff was all we were playing. The feeling of effortless fun we had when we were playing songs by other people, stayed with us the whole time we were writing. For me, this record represents our love for, and faith in each other.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ previous album, The Getaway, was released in 2016. The record, produced by Danger Mouse, marked their last with Josh Klinghoffer, who began playing with Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2007. Shortly after his departure, Klinghoffer said it was a “complete shock but not a surprise” that he was out of the group. He added, however, that he felt a “great wave of love for [his former bandmates], and love for everything [he] was able to do with them.”

Frusciante’s return to Red Hot Chili Peppers was announced in December 2019. A couple of months later, he joined Anthony Kiedis and Flea on stage for a brief set at a memorial concert.

John Frusciante joined Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988 after the death of the band’s founding guitarist Hillel Slovak. He played with the group for 1989’s Mother’s Milk and 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik before departing for the first time in 1992. Prior to his return to the band in 1998, Frusciante released the solo albums Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt (1994) and Smile From the Streets You Hold (1997). Once back in the fold, Frusciante performed on Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication (1999), By the Way (2002), and Stadium Arcadium (2006) before, once again, departing in 2009.

Michael Bublé New Single ‘I’ll Never Not Love you” Out Now.

NEW ALBUM ‘HIGHER’ TO BE RELEASED ON MARCH 25th

PRODUCED BY Greg Wells and Bob Rock along with Allen Chang, Jason ‘Spicy G’ Goldman, and Sir Paul McCartney.
Pre-Order NOW

THE FIRST SINGLE ‘I’LL NEVER NOT LOVE YOU’ IS OUT NOW.

The mutiple Grammy-winning superstar Michael Bublé will release ‘HIGHER’, his eleventh studio album, on March 25th via Warner Records / Reprise Records. Now available to pre-order/pre-save HERE, ‘HIGHER’ today launched alongside its first single ‘I’ll Never Not Love You’, which finds the multi-Platinum global entertainer at the peak of his vocal and creative powers.

Produced by Greg Wells and Bob Rock along with Allen Chang, Jason ‘Spicy G’ Goldman and Sir Paul McCartney, ‘HIGHER’ is Michael’s first studio album in three years. It follows his hugely successful sold-out two-year An Evening With Michael Bublé tour as well as the 10th anniversary of the release of his hugely successful ‘Christmas’ album.

Standouts on the new album include a magical duet with Willie Nelson on his song ‘Crazy’, Michael’s heartfelt version of the Sir Paul McCartney-penned and produced song ‘My Valentine’, and the Bob Dylan classic ‘Make You Feel My Love’. It also includes three originals written by Michael Bublé, notably the new single ‘I’ll Never Not Love You’. Other highlights are his take on the Sam Cooke classic ‘Bring It On Home To Me’, ‘You’re The First, The Last, My Everything’, and the joyous ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’. The album closes with a dramatic and breath-taking version of ‘Smile’ accompanied by a gospel choir.

Michael says, “This time out, I opened myself up completely to trying new things. I dug deeper while working and surrounding myself with the greatest music makers on the planet with gigantic imaginations. Whether it was sitting down to write with Ryan Tedder and Greg Wells, recording three songs in one day with my pal Bob Rock along with 40 of the most amazing musicians off the studio floor who hadn’t played music in 15 months, dancing around laughing and crying in my underwear in my home studio when a song sounded just right, every moment felt magical or that the universe was conspiring to bring me to this moment in time 20 years into this amazing ride I’ve been on. I have never been more excited after completing an album.”

Greg Wells comments, “Michael Bublé is a great dance partner. He gives me lots of credit but I credit him for opening up his trust to try working with a new team. He’s a phenomenal hitmaker.”

Bob Rock adds, “Since I’ve worked with him, this was the most focused and inspired Michael has been. He understood the record he wanted to make. He had a clear vision. As soon as we started, he stuck his neck out to make each song get to the place that he was hearing it in his head.”

Michael Bublé started singing at the age of four in his family’s home in Burnaby, Canada and hasn’t stopped since. His self-titled debut album on Reprise Records was released in 2005, and a series of international multi-Platinum #1 albums followed, with ‘Crazy Love’ (2009), ‘Christmas’ (2011), ‘To Be Loved’ (2013) and ‘Love’ (2018) all topping the UK’s Official Album Chart – and contributing to a total of over 75 million album sales during the course of his extraordinary career. His ‘Christmas’ album continues to stream in its millions and returns to the Top 10 every year, reaching 10 x Platinum status in the UK, and making his voice synonymous with the festive season.

As a performer, Bublé has enjoyed enormous success as one of the most exciting global touring artists with sold-out shows in over 30 countries. His most recent tour, ‘An Evening With Michael Bublé’, from 2019-2022 was seen by over a million fans around the world. He loves hockey, fantasy football, TikTok, and singing. He is the proud father of Noah, Eli and Vida.

One of an elite group of artists to play London’s 02 venue a total of 21 times to date, Michael will return to the UK this summer to play a series of shows in beautiful locations across the country. Please see HERE for a list of dates and ticket information
